#920 Motor City Brewing Works Nut Brown Ale (USA)

The last of the D burrs, this is a fairly decent nut brown. Bitter, dark, malty and packing a solid character, I don’t mind it. I’d love to have all these beers fresh on tap and see if perhaps the flavour kinda dipped on my bottles. Give ‘em a go, though.

#919 Motor City Brewing Works Pale Ale (USA)

Finally, something with flavour. The Cascade hops are evident immediately. That fruity, citrus aroma is unmissable. It completely makes this beer dope rather than meh. It still is quite watery, but it does the trick. Nice work, blokes.

#918 Motor City Brewing Works Ghettoblaster (USA)

Balconia on a blue moon steez. This English red ale is mad simple. Not a lot of flavour to speak of at all, it’s a nice copper colour with a creamy palate. Hardly any sediment this time. Supposedly made to support the Detroit music scene. Cool story bro.

#917 Motor City Brewing Works Motown Lager (USA)

Finally knocking over the last four brews from Detroit. These were the only bottles available at MCBW, and this Bohemian Lager is interesting. All the beers have maaaad sediment. Not sure if it’s coz they’re old, or coz they’re close to being home brewed or what. Oh the label says it’s coz of the natural brewing process. Right. It’s a solid, tasty lager. Nothing special but no complaints. Solid.
